As the global effect of coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, Intergroup Facility Services is committed to the health and safety of its employees, customers and stakeholders. We are closely monitoring the changing situation and have taken the appropriate measures based on the advice and information obtained from the World Health Organization and the Government of Canada.
Our pandemic preparedness plan has been in place during this outbreak. As a result, we have taken steps to limit the number of people in the Intergroup office and warehouse and we continually remind our employees to practice social distancing. Intergroup Facility Services staff have received COVID-19 Health & Safety Training and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Training. We continue to provide the same level of service and maintain the Intergroup office protocols. Where possible and appropriate, employees are working remotely from home. As an essential service, we are communicating with our clients on a regular basis to ensure that we are meeting their needs and we are confident that together we will be able to get through this pandemic.
a. Electrostatic Spray Disinfection
During these challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, it can be very daunting to choose the best method to protect your staff, tenants, visitors and customers. We understand the challenges that our clients face and we are constantly looking for new ways to improve and achieve even greater results.
Our goal is to offer clients the services that provide an added protective measure to their health and safety practices. These services include electrostatic spray disinfection using a botanical disinfectant that is Health Canada approved and kills SARS-CoV-2. Proper disinfection is the standard to maintain a health and safe environment.
Electrostatic disinfection kills bacteria and viruses by using electrostatically charged mist that adheres onto surfaces, covering large areas efficiently. The positively charged mist is especially beneficial for hard-to-reach and shadowed areas.
b. Touchpoint Cleaning (Day Porter & Night Cleaning)
Intergroup Facility Services provides Day Porter/Matron Services to meet your daily cleaning needs. Eliminate bacteria and viruses with continuous disinfection throughout the day. We use touchpoint cleaning to disinfect all surfaces and maintain a healthy environment.
Our team will customize a cleaning solution and continuously disinfect touchpoints and clean all areas to ensure a healthy environment throughout the day.
All areas exposed to hand contact are called ‘touchpoints’ and have a high frequency of contamination. Our team will disinfect door handles, washroom areas, toilets and flushers , light switches, sink faucets and handles, paper towel/soap dispensers, mounted grab bars, hand railings, push bars and plates.
c. Emergency Deep Cleaning Services
We provide emergency response services for any emergency including COVID-19 outbreaks. Our emergency service team will respond immediately and be on-site to clean, sanitize and disinfect all areas to eliminate bacteria and viruses. Intergroup Facility Services cleaning crews perform all services wearing personal protective equipment (PPE). Additional emergency services include carpet disinfection cleaning and upholstery disinfection cleaning.
